To get to know Salta from a religious perspective, this pedestrian circuit “Visit to the Churches, Historical and Religious Circuit of the City of Salta” offers in its route a visit to the 7 churches just as this devotion emerged in the 16th century, which are the most relevant for their religious and historical heritage.
It can be done every Saturday throughout the year, with different themes depending on the liturgical time of the year.
This Circuit presents a short and a complete route, starting with the Sanctuary of the Virgin and the Lord of the Miracle - Cathedral Basilica, San Francisco, San José, León XIII, Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, adding in the second option, San Juan Bautista of La Merced, Sanctuary of Perpetual Help and San Alfonso, Cross of the National Eucharistic Congress of 1974, culminating in the San Bernardo Convent.
