Located 411 km (4hs 15 min) from the capital city of Salta, Rivadavia Banda Norte, also known as Coronel Juan Solá or Morillo, is the only municipality that is identical with three names

Of its more than 9600 inhabitants, 30% belong to the Wichi ethnic group. Its Patron Saint Festivities are celebrated in August in honor of San Lorenzo.

The Wichi handicrafts stand out: handmade carvings in wood of "palo santo", in addition the women weave with "chaguar", a plant with long thorny leaves that grows in abundance in this region. The whole process is transmitted among them from generation to generation. The colors are obtained from seeds, fruits, roots or tree bark.
