Rural tourism
Rural comunitario
Salta invites the cultural exchange between the local and the traveler, through a responsible and respectful tourism of the different customs and ways of life.
In the company of local guides, recreational activities can be carried out in full contact with nature such as: hiking, biking, boating or horseback riding. You can also participate in tilling the land and in daily tasks such as making sweets, artisan wines, touring the vineyards and fruit trees, and making empanadas in a clay oven.
The practice of responsible tourism through deep experiences with local communities is the main motivation of travelers who know how to appreciate the intangible heritage values of living culture.
Community rural tourism has the particularity of being managed by communities of indigenous peoples and peasants, who within a framework of mutual respect share with the visitor their traditional organization, knowledge and worldview, generating equitable and complementary income to their daily productive activities.
The communities that make up this offer, organized in the Argentine Network of Rural Community Tourism, open their doors inviting visitors to experience unforgettable moments alongside ancestral cultures in natural landscapes of surprising beauty.
This experience of working the land and daily tasks, tasting local cuisine and immersing yourself in authentic cultural settings leaves a deep mark on those who know how to discover them.
