The highest wine route in the world is located in the Calchaquíes Valleys: between mountains dotted with colors and crossing incredible roads, you will discover a wine route that will make you fall in love.

Few places in the world surprise as much as this Wine Route. The variety of colors in its mountains, the typical villages and the warmth of its people make this place magical. It crosses places with very striking landscapes such as Quebrada de las Flechas, Quebrada de las Conchas and centenary towns such as Molinos, San Carlos, Seclantás and Cachi with an enormous cultural richness expressed in music and handicrafts.

Through the National Route N°68 and the famous National Route N°40 you can taste the highest wines in the world and taste the different varieties offered by the wineries of Salta. It is the highest wine route in the world, it is located in the Calchaquíes Valleys and it is the most important wine production area in Salta. It has a dry and temperate climate, optimal for the cultivation and production of Torrontés and other grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Tannat, Bonarda, Syrah, Barbera and Tempranillo.

At present, 1,200,000 bottles of high-end wines are exported from the province of Salta to 30 countries around the world, making Salta one of the most popular destinations in the world.
