Santa Victoria Oeste is a municipality and head of the department of Santa Victoria, in the extreme northwest of the province of Salta, Argentina. Located between mountains and valleys, near the border with the Republic of Bolivia, it is 540 km from the city of Salta.

It is located on the western edge of the Yungas jungles, in the north of the province of Salta, at the exact point where the forests begin to merge with the grasslands of the Puna, the town appears as an apparition, at 2400 meters above sea level.

It is a locality framed between mountain ranges, and at the intersection of the Acoyte and La Huerta rivers. It is within the perimeter of the biosphere reserve of the Yungas.
