Teatro Provincial de Salta

One of the most recognized theaters in the north is the Teatro Provincial de Salta. It has stable bodies from the province, such as the Salta Symphony Orchestra, the Province Ballet, the Martín Miguel de Güemes Folkloric Ballet, the Children's and Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Chamber Music Department, which annually offer their seasons of varied and exquisite repertoire, with outstanding dancers and soloists. The zarzuela and opera productions make this cultural organization a space for purely local production, with suitable personnel for the production of sets and costumes.

Its Sala Mayor has 3 floors and 4 levels (Platea, Boxes, Pullman and Super Pullman) with a maximum capacity of 1520 people. It has stage equipment for sound and lighting. In it, plays and musical shows of a national and international nature are performed.

The Victoria Hall has a capacity of 80 people, it is ideal for chamber music concerts, talks, and dissertations.

Every day there are guided tours with great attendance for students of various educational levels, tourists and the general public. Accompanied by a guide, visitors learn about the presentations that take place in its various rooms, such as plays, ballet, and zarzuela; concerts, recitals, and other activities that also take place at the Theater, such as lectures, auditions, and congresses, among others.

Casa de la Cultura

The Casa de la Cultura de Salta arranges its rooms to promote and facilitate activities related to different cultural expressions within a framework of respect for diversity, to promote knowledge of cultural products and the expansion of exchange opportunities.

The construction covers a total area of 2,500 m2, built on the original land of the old House of Culture. Regarding its façade, the environment in which the block is located was respected, with the vertical lines and the proportions of the windows and the existing arches on that street.

Ticket office hours for shows: Monday 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays the box office opens one hour before the performance.

Visiting hours to exhibitions in the Hal: 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Usina Cultural

The Usina Cultural is a modern building that generates energy through culture. Its strategic location in Spain and Juramento, allows it to become a convening space day and night, integrated into the cultural and tourist circuits of the city.

With a recovered covered area of 1,157 m2, plus a new one of 700 m2 located on a majestic 8,500 m2 plot, the place has:

• A Theater and Auditorium: with capacity for 288 people divided between Platea and Pulman.
• SUM: the most versatile space in the Plant, equipped for the most diverse uses.
• Rooms of various sizes, with technology and furniture adaptable to different set-ups.
• Amphitheatre: with capacity for 300 people located in the heart of the property, outdoors and surrounded by a natural park, ideal for open-door events;
• Plaza Usina y Pantalla Gigante: open-air sector with a giant screen that is integrated into the park and the food truck area, ideal for film cycles, multimedia shows, incidental music, fairs, etc.

La Usina is the result of the most important cultural work of the last decades, and stands as a place where new pages for culture are written, through expression, creativity, production, and the meeting of all Salteños .
