Trinity Wine Experience

Valles Calchaquíes

Magnificent experience in direct contact with nature, touring the Calchaquí Valleys, enjoying its culture and wines. We are going to tour the highest wineries in the world, we are going to taste their wines and enjoy the landscapes.

DAY 1: SALTA – CACHI: Departure from the city of Salta. This circuit begins in the city of Salta and runs through the south of the Lerma Valley, passing through picturesque towns and characteristic plantations of the area, and then entering the Quebrada de Escoipe that takes us to the P.N. Los Cardones and the iconic Cuesta del Obispo where we will reach 3,300 meters high. After contemplating the snow-capped Andes and various Inca roads, we will take the famous RN40 in Payogasta towards Cachi. We will have lunch at Bodega Puna (http://www.bodegapuna.com.ar) overlooking the vineyards and we will taste their wines. In the afternoon, after having checked in at the La Merced del Alto hotel, we will go to visit the Isasmendi Winery, an exclusive family winery in the town of Cachi (https://www.bodegaisasmendi.com). Dinner at the La Merced del Alto hotel and accommodation.

DAY 2: CACHI – COLOMÉ / TACUIL – MOLINOS: After our breakfast at the hotel, we will depart south on RN 40 that will take us through the path of the artisans of El Colte, passing through Seclantás and Molinos to arrive at lunch at the Bodega Colomé, founded in 1831. In addition to enjoying delicious preparations, we will have a guided tour of the vineyards, the winery and the James Turrell light museum (www.bodegacolome.com). In the afternoon we will continue our journey towards Tacuil to visit one of the highest wineries in the world, in a dream place (https://www.tacuil.com.ar). After tasting their wonderful wines, we will return to Molinos to stay at the Hacienda de Molinos, an old 18th century mansion. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 3: MILLS – ANGASTACO – SAN CARLOS – ANIMANÁ – CAFAYATE: We will depart the next morning to continue the trip through the Calchaquíes Valleys, passing through Angastaco where we will enter the amazing Quebrada de las Flechas, a natural monument that will make us discover incredible rock formations that will act as a link between the desert landscape and an oasis of vineyards in the middle of the mountains. After passing through the historic Vallisto town of San Carlos and the wine-growing town of Animaná, we will visit Bodega Dal Borgo (www.bodegadalborgo.com.ar), we will taste their wines and we will have lunch at the Bodega Burbujas de Altura (http://www .burbujasdealtura.com.ar). There we can taste the innovative Torrontés Sparkling Wine from our own production. In the afternoon they will be waiting for us at our Patios de Cafayate hotel, we will check in and we will have a visit with tasting to the El Esteco Winery (www.elesteco.com.ar). Dinner and accommodation. Hotel Patios de Cafayate.

DAY 4: CAFAYATE – QUEBRADA DE LAS CONCHAS – SALTA: We will take advantage of the morning in the sunny city of Cafayate to tour the vineyards of the El Esteco winery, visit the Vine and Wine Museum, and then have lunch at the Piatelli Winery. In the afternoon we will leave for Salta along RN 68 where our senses will be delighted with its characteristic colors and shapes such as Los Castillos, El Amphitheater and La Garganta del Diablo. We will arrive again in the Lerma Valley and pass through La Viña, Guachipas and Coronel Moldes to end our adventure in the City of Salta.
