The Salta Rafting base is located 100 km (2 hours by vehicle) from the city of Salta.

Rafting begins with an instructional rafting and safety course. The equipment is delivered and the descent through the rapids of the Rio Juramento begins, there are 12 different class II and III rapids, framed by the imposing landscape of the Rio Juramento Canyon.

The Juramento Canyon is like a giant open pit between the mountains. Its walls were, 65 million years ago, enormous beaches inhabited by prehistoric animals.

The descent begins at the base and ends 12 km later at Paraje Los Lapachos.

It lasts approximately 2 hours.

At the end we return to the base by land (in Salta Rafting vehicles). There you have the option of having a delicious barbecue for lunch.
